We're seeking a highly experienced Web Operations Engineer (Contract) to support backend development, systems integration, and infrastructure stability during a temporary team capacity gap. This role is critical to ensuring high performance and continuity for our web platform and tools. You will collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, UX, Design, TechOps, Data Engineering and external vendors to lead the execution of technical projects and operational improvements.
This is a temporary, full-capacity contractor position designed to support strategic and operational initiatives during an employee leave of absence.
What You’ll Work On
Backend Development & Operational Support
- Implement and manage web analytics tools (GA4, GTM, OneTrust) to ensure accurate tracking and privacy compliance
- Optimize and maintain backend systems for reliability, scalability, and performance
- Manage and integrate APIs across platforms and services
- Maintain and enhance tooling such as Webflow, Webless, and Debugbear
- Lead technical backlog grooming, prioritize bugs and features, and improve QA and SLA processes
Strategic Project Leadership
- Events Migration: Drive technical execution of event content, layout, and backend infrastructure migration
- Forms System Architecture: Design and implement a robust forms experience; ensure backend integration and rigorous QA
- Translation Workflow: Build logic and maintain tooling to support multilingual workflows across platforms
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the technical liaison between TechOps, Security, Data Engineering, and vendor teams
- Participate in weekly Web Team standups and ensure smooth handoffs between internal and external collaborators
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
