Project Overview
Eden is seeking a senior Webflow developer to support high-velocity page builds, landing page iterations, and CRO-driven website execution—while contributing to the ongoing health and scalability of our Webflow system.
This role is execution heavy. The majority of the work involves hands-on, page-level front-end development: building new pages, iterating on existing templates, implementing experiments, and translating design intent into production-ready Webflow builds. At the same time, the contractor is expected to apply system-aware judgment so that rapid execution does not degrade shared components, CMS structures, or overall site maintainability. This project requires a strong Webflow builder with good design instincts who also understands how their work fits into a larger site ecosystem.
Scope Of Work (Primary Responsibilities)
Page-Level Webflow Development
- Page Builds & Iteration: Build and iterate on landing pages, marketing pages, and CRO-driven variants directly in Webflow.
- Design Execution: Translate Figma designs into clean, responsive Webflow implementations, making informed decisions around spacing, hierarchy, and layout where designs are incomplete or evolving.
- Responsive QA: Ensure pages behave predictably across breakpoints with strong attention to alignment, spacing, and interaction states.
- Experiment Implementation: Support CRO initiatives by building test variants and experiment-ready page structures without breaking layout or tracking.
System-Aware Webflow Contribution
- Reusable Patterns: When appropriate, abstract repeated page patterns into reusable components or templates instead of duplicating work.
- Class Discipline: Follow and reinforce existing class naming conventions and layout systems to avoid CSS entropy.
- CMS Usage: Build pages and templates that leverage existing CMS collections cleanly and efficiently, flagging opportunities for improvement when needed.
- Collaboration with Webflow Systems Lead: Work within established architectural guidelines, escalating structural changes rather than independently re-architecting systems.
Performance, QA, & Reliability
- Production Standards: Treat all page updates as production changes, with awareness of shared components and downstream effects.
- Regression Awareness: Avoid breaking shared templates, symbols, or global styles during fast iteration cycles.
- Performance Mindset: Make reasonable front-end decisions that support fast load times and layout stability.
Experimentation & Analytics Support
- CRO Collaboration: Implement A/B and multivariate tests (VWO or equivalent) with safe CSS targeting and experiment isolation.
- Analytics Enablement: Support GTM and analytics instrumentation needs as they relate to page builds and experiments.
- Measurement Safety: Ensure page-level changes do not compromise tracking accuracy or test validity.
Qualifications
Contractor Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of professional web development experience, with strong hands-on experience building Webflow pages and templates at scale.
- Webflow Strength: Proven ability to execute quickly in Webflow while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Front-End Skills: Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals (responsive layouts, flexbox/grid) and practical JavaScript for DOM interaction, experiments, or integrations.
- Design Literacy: Comfortable working in Figma and making layout and spacing decisions without relying on pixel-perfect specs.
- CRO / Marketing Environments: Experience supporting landing pages, experimentation, or high-iteration marketing teams.
- Professional Independence: Contractor determines hours, methods, and workflows required to meet agreed deliverables.
- Tools & Equipment: Contractor provides their own equipment.
Preferred
- Experience working in regulated or conversion-critical environments (healthcare, fintech, etc.).
- Familiarity with GTM, VWO, GA4, or similar tools.
- End-to-end builder mindset: experience owning projects from early research and competitive analysis through wireframes, design exploration, build, and iteration.
Project Success Metrics
Success Will Be Evaluated Based On
- Execution Quality: High-quality, production-ready page builds with strong QA and responsiveness.
- Velocity: Ability to support rapid page iteration and experimentation without creating rework.
- System Respect: Page-level work that fits cleanly into existing Webflow systems and standards.
- Reliability: Minimal regressions during high-frequency updates.
- Collaboration: Smooth coordination with CRO, Design, Analytics, and the Webflow systems owner.
