We work on high-quality Webflow websites for SaaS, tech, and product-driven companies. The work is system-driven, component-based, and performance-conscious, with a strong focus on clean builds and thoughtful animation.We're looking to bring on a senior Webflow developer on a contract basis, with the option to move into a full-time role if there's good alignment.
This is not a general Webflow role.We're looking for someone who is a self-starter and a finisher, with an obsessive eye for pixel-perfect execution, strong design sensibilities, and the ability to build clean, scalable, component-based Webflow systems.If you enjoy shipping high-quality work, care deeply about craft, and take pride in how things are built under the hood, we'd love to work with you.
Responsibilities
You must meet the criteria below:
A self-starter + completer mindset You take ownership, push things to completion, and don't need hand-holding.
Very high bar for design & precision Pixel-perfect builds matter to you. You have a strong eye for spacing, typography, alignment, and visual hierarchy.
Strong experience with Lumos v2 You actively use Lumos v2, understand its philosophy, and stay up to date with changes and best practices.
Component-based Webflow buildsYou know how to build scalable systems using components, properties, and reusability — always keeping the end user and editors in mind.
Solid web fundamentals Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsiveness, accessibility basics, and general web best practices.
Excellent JavaScript & jQuery knowledge You're comfortable enhancing Webflow builds with custom JS and jQuery where needed.
Systems thinker You've built strong website systems involving integrations, automations, and structured data flows.
Strong internal QA process You test your work properly — responsiveness, interactions, edge cases, performance, and regressions.
Advanced animation experienceHands-on experience with:
- Webflow Interactions (IX)
- Webflow GSAP
- Native GSAP (ScrollTrigger, timelines, etc.)
Performance-driven builds Your previous sites consistently show high performance scores and solid PageSpeed Insights results.
Bonus points (nice to have, not mandatory)
- Experience with Memberstack and Airtable
- At least 3 live sites built using Lumos with a component-based approach
- Experience integrating Rive, Lottie, WebGL, shaders, or other advanced visual/animation workflows
