Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Webflow Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering. You won't just be "converting" designs; you will be the technical architect ensuring our web properties are scalable, accessible, and high-performing.
You will work closely with our UI/UX designers to translate Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive Webflow websites, while also using custom code (HTML/CSS/JS) to extend functionality beyond Webflow's native limits.
Basic working knowledge of WordPress is required for blog management (publishing, formatting, and updates) and maintaining smooth integration with the Webflow site.
Key Responsibilities
- Pixel-Perfect Development: Translate high-fidelity designs (Figma/Adobe XD) into fully responsive Webflow websites with 100% visual accuracy.
- CMS Architecture: Plan and build complex CMS structures that are easy for non-technical team members to manage and scale without breaking the design.
- Custom Implementation: Write custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to achieve complex interactions, API integrations, or functionality that Webflow native tools cannot handle.
- Performance & SEO: Own the technical health of the website. Ensure 90+ Google PageSpeed scores, proper heading hierarchy, semantic HTML tagging, and adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Interactions & Animations: Implement smooth, performant animations using Webflow Interactions 2.0 (and occasionally GSAP or Lottie files) that enhance UX without compromising speed.
- Maintenance & QA: Conduct thorough cross-browser and cross-device testing. Troubleshoot bugs and manage regular site updates and plugin integrations.
- WordPress Blog Management: Manage and maintain the WordPress-hosted blog, including publishing and formatting content, handling basic theme or plugin updates (Elementor), and ensuring seamless design and functional integration with the Webflow site.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience building and launching commercial websites in Webflow, and managing blogs on Wordpress (with Elementor plugin)
Technical Stack:
- Expert proficiency in Webflow (Designer, CMS, Interactions).
- Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) for custom solutions.
- Familiarity with established Webflow naming conventions (e.g., Client-First by Finsweet, KNOCKOUT, or similar frameworks).
Design Fluency: Proficiency in Figma. You don't need to be a designer, but you must understand layers, auto-layout, and how to inspect design files efficiently.
Integrations: Experience connecting Webflow to third-party tools (HubSpot, Zapier, Make, Memberstack, etc.).
Attention to Detail: You are the type of person who notices if padding is 4px off or if a hover state is missing.
Knowledge of technical SEO: Schema markup, sitemaps, 301 redirects
Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)
- Experience with GSAP (GreenSock) for advanced animations.
- Experience with Webflow Logic or Wized.
- Previous experience working in an agency environment.
Soft Skills
Problem Solver: You don't just say "Webflow can't do that." You find a workaround or a custom code solution.
Communicator: You can explain technical limitations to designers and stakeholders in plain English.
