About the Role
Shoonya Media is a marketing and creative agency that helps businesses modernize their digital presence. We're hiring a full-time Webflow Designer & Developer to join our team and work on client website projects.
Many of our clients currently use WordPress or older website builders. For most projects, we purchase a premium Webflow template and adapt it using the client's existing content, website structure, brand assets, and business goals.
This role goes beyond placing content into a template. You'll be responsible for improving the layout, visual hierarchy, usability, responsiveness, and overall quality of each website while keeping the client's brand and goals in mind.
What You'll Do
- Review client websites to understand their existing pages, content, services, and user journeys.
- Recommend a practical sitemap and identify which template sections should be used, modified, or replaced.
- Rebuild client websites in Webflow using premium templates as a starting point.
- Migrate and adapt existing content across home, service, about, contact, location, portfolio, and other relevant pages.
- Customize template sections and create new reusable components when needed.
- Improve page layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy, calls to action, and overall user experience.
- Build responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Configure Webflow CMS collections when required.
- Perform quality assurance before launch, including responsive checks, link testing, consistency reviews, and basic performance hygiene.
- Communicate progress, questions, and potential blockers clearly in an asynchronous working environment.
- Manage multiple client projects and meet agreed-upon timelines.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience building production-ready websites in Webflow.
- Strong front-end fundamentals, including HTML and CSS concepts.
- Good visual judgment and a clear understanding of spacing, typography, hierarchy, and modern website patterns.
- Experience working with Webflow components, variables, CMS collections, and responsive breakpoints.
- Ability to customize premium templates beyond simple content replacement.
- Ability to interpret an existing website and improve its structure without losing important content.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Clear written communication and the ability to work independently.
- A portfolio containing live Webflow projects.
Nice to Have
- Experience migrating websites from WordPress or other builders to Webflow.
- Basic knowledge of technical SEO and website performance.
- Experience creating tasteful interactions and animations.
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Basic JavaScript knowledge for light custom functionality.
What You'll Receive
For each project, our team will typically provide:
- The client's existing website
- The selected Webflow template
- Project goals and page priorities
- Brand assets
- Existing content or approved copy
- Feedback and direction from the project team
