As our web designer, you will utilize and push the possibilities of Webflow to create intuitive, attractive user interfaces to engage customers. As we grow you will have the opportunity to help shape our internal design culture and process while we create smart, delightful web experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes and mockups for websites and applications
- Design and build out styles, visual elements, and final layouts for all platforms and devices using Webflow
- Work closely with developers to determine and set up reusable components
- Create custom graphics and icons
- Connect with clients and translate their needs into a smart design
- Research and evaluate new web trends
- Establish and maintain web standards and best practices
- Manage and execute projects across their entire lifecycle
- Communicate vision and how it meets the client’s goals
- Collaborate with all teams and give and receive feedback
Qualifications
- 2+ years of web design experience
- Proficient in XD, Figma, and/or Sketch. Nice to haves: Webflow, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects or other animation skills
- Strong demonstration of design fundamentals — typography, composition, contrast, negative space, and color theory – and a holistic approach from hero graphics to small details
- Expert in creating web systems and style guides across multiple platforms and for each user states
- Proficient in prepping and exporting assets for web
- Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, and multimedia design
- Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Curiosity and drive to grow as we grow our company
