Role Summary
We are looking for a highly capable Product Design Lead who can independently translate business goals, technical direction, and platform requirements into high-quality product UX, website experiences, and campaign designs. This role will also own Webflow-ready design standards, publishing quality, and execution guidance for junior designers. The ideal candidate is both a strong thinker and a strong operator—someone who can take high-level inputs, shape them into clear design direction, and ensure consistent execution across product and digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX and UI direction for product features, websites, landing pages, and campaign pages.
- Translate business objectives, product requirements, and technical inputs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished final designs.
- Create and maintain scalable Figma design systems, reusable component libraries, and structured design documentation.
- Ensure all website and campaign designs are prepared for efficient and maintainable Webflow implementation.
- Oversee Webflow design and publishing quality, including CMS structure, reusable sections, responsive layouts, styling consistency, and maintainable class strategy.
- Guide, review, and mentor junior designers working across Figma and Webflow.
- Present design concepts, user experience decisions, and visual direction clearly to project stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate closely with Product/Project Management, Engineering, and Business Leadership to align design outcomes with business and technical goals.
- Drive consistency, usability, and scalability across both platform/product experiences and digital marketing/web experiences.
- Take ownership of design decisions with minimal supervision and reduce dependency on repeated direction and review cycles.
Must-Have Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or Digital Experience Design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both: product/platform UX work, and website / landing page / campaign design work
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, design systems, auto layout, and scalable file organization.
- Strong hands-on experience in Webflow, including page building, CMS setup, reusable structures, responsive design, and publishing best practices.
- Proven ability to lead, review, and mentor junior designers.
- Ability to work from high-level business goals and technical requirements with minimal guidance.
- Experience designing reusable systems and scalable patterns, not just one-off screens.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions logically and confidently.
- B.Tech / B.E. degree in any Engineering discipline is required.
- Must be willing to work on-site from our Bangalore office as required in a hybrid working model.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on SaaS platforms, B2B products, or workflow-heavy applications.
- Familiarity with design handoff and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, usability principles, and component-based design thinking.
- Experience working with remote stakeholders and distributed teams.
Absolute Rejection Criteria
- Portfolio shows only visual design with no strong UX or product-thinking depth.
- No real Webflow production experience.
- No SaaS, platform, or product UX examples.
- No evidence of design systems, reusable components, or scalable thinking.
- Requires heavy direction to begin or complete design work.
- Cannot explain design decisions in a clear, structured, and logical way.
