Job Description
The Senior Webflow Developer will contribute to our web development team by creating high-performance client marketing websites that drive leads and convert prospects to customers. This senior role requires advanced expertise in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, along with a proven track record of implementing complex Webflow solutions. You'll serve as a technical lead while driving innovation, establishing development standards, and mentoring junior developers.
Essential Functions
- Strategic Web Development Advancement: Beyond just building websites, you'll establish and implement development standards, architectural patterns, and technical strategies to enhance our Webflow capabilities. You'll evaluate new frameworks, tools, and techniques to continually improve our development processes.
- Advanced Website Design & Development: You'll lead the design and development of complex, custom websites, tackling our most challenging projects and overseeing junior developers' work. You'll develop reusable components, establish site architecture, and implement custom code solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Technical Mentorship & Team Development: You'll mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and help team members grow their skills. You'll lead by example through your work quality and share your expertise through documentation and training sessions.
- Webflow Optimization & Advanced Integration: You'll implement advanced Webflow techniques including complex interactions, custom code solutions, and third-party API integrations. You'll optimize sites for performance, SEO, and conversion rate while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and ADA compliance.
- Client Strategy Consultation: You'll serve as a technical expert in client meetings as needed, communicating complex concepts clearly while providing strategic recommendations on information architecture, user experience, and technical implementation approaches. You'll partner with project managers to ensure client satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance Leadership: You'll establish and maintain quality standards across our web development team, implementing testing methodologies, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring consistent code quality. You'll review team deliverables and provide constructive feedback while solving complex technical challenges.

Minimum Experience
- 3+ years developing advanced websites in the Webflow content management system
- Expert knowledge of Webflow site architecture, CMS relationships, and complex interactions
- Advanced experience with Lumos, Client-First, Finsweet, and other Webflow frameworks
- Comprehensive understanding of other content management systems (CMS) with the ability to migrate from systems such as WordPress, SquareSpace, Duda or Wix
- Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS and Javascript with the ability to implement custom code solutions
- Experience mentoring junior developers and leading web development initiatives
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles with excellent communication skills
- A passion for helping clients and small businesses succeed, with a portfolio of successful projects
