What is the work?
- Design, develop, and maintain websites using Webflow as the primary platform.
- Leverage expertise in other hosted platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or similar for additional web development projects.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to convert design prototypes into functional and responsive websites.
- Build and manage websites using Webflow CMS, custom animations, and interactions.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO and scalability across platforms.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and provide solutions for Webflow and other hosted platform issues.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to create user-centric web experiences.
- Stay updated on Webflow's new features, as well as other hosted platforms tools and trends in web development.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Webflow as the primary development platform (mandatory).
- Proven experience working with other hosted website platforms like Wix, Squarespace, or Shopify.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Advanced knowledge of Webflow's CMS, eCommerce, and interaction features.
- Portfolio showcasing professional projects built with Webflow and other hosted platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO optimization and web performance best practices.
- Ability to translate design mockups (Figma, Sketch) into functional websites.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Develop reusable components, symbols, and style guides within Webflow.
- Implement custom interactions and animations using Webflow Interactions and JavaScript when required.
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, forms, etc.).
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term maintenance support.
- Experience working in client-facing, service-based environments.
- Ability to estimate effort, manage timelines, and handle multiple projects.
- Mentoring junior developers and performing code/design reviews.
