ABOUT IGNITE
Based in Melbourne and working with clients across Australia, IGNITE® (https://igniteagency.com) is an award-winning digital agency specialising in complex, high quality Webflow builds for education, renewable energy and purpose-led organisations.
We partner long term with our clients, building and evolving digital platforms that are designed to scale, perform and adapt over time.
We are looking for a highly technical Webflow specialist who is a developer first. Someone with years of full stack experience who has intentionally chosen Webflow as their primary build platform, and who thinks deeply about systems, performance, scalability and craft.
This role spans advanced new Webflow builds, the ongoing technical support and evolution of selected legacy client websites, and meaningful long term ownership of a large Enterprise Webflow implementation for a major Australian organisation.
Education: Working with institutions like Melbourne Girls Grammar, Kincoppal-Rose Bay School, Beaconhills College, Luther College, King David School, Marcellin College, and more.
Renewable Energy: Partnering with companies such as Mondo/AusNet, Origin, Chargefox, Equis, and others.
Not For Profit: Collaborating with organisations including the AFL Players Association, Fairtrade, Abound, Emerge, and more.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work closely with our designers, strategists and technical leads to deliver advanced Webflow builds that are clean, scalable and production ready.
A key part of this role is taking ownership of a large Enterprise Webflow instance for a major Australian client. You will work on this platform week to week, improving, evolving and refining it over time, collaborating closely with both the IGNITE team and the client's internal stakeholders. This is a long running, high trust engagement where continuity, quality and technical judgement really matter.
This is not a visual-only Webflow role. You will be expected to architect solutions, write custom code where required, integrate external systems, and use modern AI assisted development workflows to move fast without sacrificing quality.
Alongside this core work, you will also help maintain, improve and modernise a subset of our legacy client sites. These may include NextJS, WordPress or custom builds that require a careful, experienced developer's hand, supported by AI where appropriate.
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF

- You now specialise in Webflow and know exactly where it shines and where custom code is required.

- You are comfortable maintaining and improving legacy codebases without fear.
- You actively use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or similar as part of your daily workflow.
- You are comfortable working with MCP style tooling, automation and agent driven development.
- You care deeply about clean structure, maintainability and performance.
- You enjoy solving complex problems, not just assembling pages.
