About the role

You contribute to the success of our clients by helping bring their visual communication to the next level. Together with your colleagues you work on different initiatives and collaborate with specialists across marketing, content, and development to create work that performs.

As a Designer & Webflow Developer, you help turn ideas into clean, user-friendly digital experiences. You work closely with our in-house marketing team to bring campaigns to life through design and no-code tools.

You'll work on projects such as creating visual assets for advertising campaigns, designing and building B2B SaaS websites, and auditing and optimizing landing pages for better conversion. We're much more into custom design in Figma than standard templates in Canva. So fair warning: you won't be making Canva ads here.

At Unmuted, we design and build custom B2B SaaS websites in Webflow. No templates, no page builders stacked on top of each other. Just clean structure, thoughtful design, and sites that actually support marketing. Our websites are built with scalable structures, CMS-driven content, and frameworks like Lumos & Client-First. Bonus points if you're already familiar with Lumos or animation frameworks like GSAP.

Over time, you'll also learn how visual communication connects to the bigger marketing strategy behind it. Together with your colleagues you'll help shape ideas, improve designs, and gradually take on more responsibility in projects.

About us

B2B marketing is changing fast.

Privacy regulations are reshaping advertising. New social platforms appear every year. Search behavior is evolving through AI and LLMs. At the same time, knowledge is more accessible than ever and new business models are constantly emerging.

Yet much of B2B marketing still looks the same: whitepapers, webinars, and safe but forgettable content.

At Unmuted, we're trying to change that.

With a team of experienced marketers, designers, and builders, we're developing a modern B2B marketing playbook every day. One that focuses on creativity, strong ideas, and work that actually gets noticed.

We work with an exciting portfolio of startups and scale-ups in the SaaS space. Our job is to help them build and optimize their GTM engine. In simpler terms: their marketing machine. That means running ad campaigns, producing a lot of content, and building high-quality websites that support their growth.

Websites play a central role in our work. Many of our clients rely on Webflow for their marketing infrastructure, which means you'll be building and improving sites that are used every day by real customers.

If you join Unmuted, you'll work on projects for ambitious companies that want to stand out. And you'll be surrounded by people who enjoy experimenting, learning fast, and pushing the quality of the work a little further every time.

About you

You have a background in, or strong interest in, design and web development. Maybe you studied something related, maybe you taught yourself. What matters most is that you enjoy designing and building websites and want to keep improving. Experience within B2B SaaS is a plus, but not a requirement.

You enjoy designing marketing assets just as much as creating websites that look good and work well. You care about structure, usability, and the details that make a design feel polished. When something feels off, you're usually one of the first to notice.

You work in a structured way, have an eye for detail, and like improving your skills. You're comfortable working independently, but you also enjoy collaborating with colleagues across design, content, and marketing.

As a Designer & Webflow Developer, you're interested in the intersection of design, no-code development, and branding. Below is an overview of the areas you'll work in.

Digital design – You create marketing assets (think ads, social post templates, banners and marketing reports to name a few examples) and product visuals that align with the brand identity of our clients.

Web design & development – You have experience designing or building responsive websites, ideally in Webflow. This could be through internships, personal projects, freelance work, or previous roles.

Design systems & structure – You learn how structured design and scalable layouts help websites grow over time.

Wireframing – Tools like Figma are familiar to you and you can translate ideas into simple wireframes or page designs.

Webflow & CMS – You understand the basics of working in Webflow and how CMS-driven content can help scale websites.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS – You don't need to be a developer, but basic understanding of how websites work under the hood is helpful.

Organization – You're able to keep track of tasks, manage your time, and move projects forward.

Good to know: we don't expect you to be an expert in all these areas. Curiosity and willingness to learn matter more. You'll work with specialists on our side and on the client side, so being open to feedback and collaboration is important.

Your work week

We kick off the week with the Client Weekly. During this tactical meeting, we review ongoing projects and set the focus for each client.

During the week you'll work on a mix of projects. Some days you'll be designing and building new pages in Webflow or improving existing ones. Other days you might create visual assets for campaigns, design wireframes for new website concepts, or support the marketing team with visuals for content or product pages.

Throughout the week, you'll regularly collaborate with our Demand Marketing Managers when their clients need content. We love working in the office, but also work a lot async from home and use tools like Loom, Notion, Miro and Slack.

If you're working in the office, we typically have lunch around 12:00 and take our time for it. A short walk after lunch? Always a good idea. You'll usually be back at your desk around 1:00 PM. Pro tip: Artis Zoo is right next to our office!

If you're working from home, you have the flexibility to set your own hours, as long as there's enough overlap with a regular workweek and you're available for meetings.

On Fridays we often wrap up a bit earlier. If you feel like it, you can grab a drink with colleagues at the office or at a nearby pub. Or head home and start your weekend early. Both are perfectly fine.

What you'll actually be doing

You'll work on a mix of design and Webflow development for marketing projects. No two days are exactly the same, but most of your work will fall somewhere in this mix.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Creating visual assets for ad campaigns and social content
  • Designing in Figma and building pages in Webflow
  • Turning Figma designs into clean, responsive websites
  • Improving landing pages to increase performance
  • Designing wireframes and page concepts for new websites
  • Supporting the marketing team with product visuals and content design

You'll collaborate closely with marketers, content specialists, and other designers to make sure everything we create not only looks good, but also performs well. All the websites we build and maintain are CMS-driven marketing sites, so structuring content and thinking about scalability is an important part of the work.

What success looks like after 6 months

After a few months at Unmuted, you'll feel comfortable working within our design and Webflow workflow. You'll understand how our websites are structured and how design, marketing, and development come together in our projects. If something can be designed better, built cleaner, or structured smarter, we encourage you to say so.

By that time:

  • Creating marketing assets for campaigns has become a second nature
  • You think out of the box when creating the crispiest product visuals for your clients
  • You confidently design and build pages in Webflow
  • You understand how we structure websites and CMS-driven content
  • You take ownership of smaller clients or projects, from design to Webflow implementation
  • You collaborate smoothly with colleagues from marketing, content, and design
  • You contribute ideas on how we can improve our websites, processes, or creative work

Most importantly, you've grown as a designer and developer. You've worked on real projects for SaaS companies and learned how your websites and designs support marketing, campaigns, and growth.

Also included

Working at Unmuted means learning new things, working with fun colleagues, celebrating successes, feeling good about your work, and starting (and ending) your day with a smile.

Impact on your career

At Unmuted, you're not just taking on a role, you're building a personal brand and network from which you'll benefit for the rest of your life. You'll be surrounded by experts in marketing, design, content, and no-code development.

They constantly share their knowledge via Slack and on LinkedIn, and they encourage you to do the same. This means that in no time, you'll be among the top 1% of B2B marketing professionals in the Netherlands.
